I would say this book is more of a source of inspiration rather than detailed information, but then again, it does provide a lengthy list of resources at the end of the book for further reading.
Although it oversimplifies many new education techniques and fails to provide solid empirical support for many of them , the basic thesis of the book is solid: One of the most valuable points repeatedly made in the book is the importance of various learning modalities and how most modes of learning are underutilized in traditional educational settings. I would recommend this book to all educators, if for no other reason than to inspire them to always look for better ways to reach students. Mar 19, Taufan Putera rated it it was amazing.
